Your Email Account is Suspended For Security

Yikes, I just received this returned e-mail that says "Your Email Account is Suspended For Security". This may be a result of a mass e-mail I sent out to our existing mail list of 2,500 users telling them to reply if they wanted to remain on our mailing list otherwise they would automatically be unsubscribed. It's a full blown effort on our part to make sure our mail list completely follows a Confirmed Opt-In Subscription Process. I received three e-mails about AOL SPAM complaints. Has AOL banned our e-mail address? Or has FutureQuest? I'm just trying to do what is right and am concerned.

Hi Amy,

I can assure you it's not from FutureQuest.

It is common for virus-type, spoofing, and phishing emails to have subjects such as that to get the recipient's attention.

The company where I work was spammed with this exact same mail today. It came in all at once, to nearly all users. The "From" field was much more cleverly disguided though.
