Yeah, you're the second to say it's too much.. I'll probably end up changing it again soon.

Tis possible I just spend too much time at the monitor I guess... the bright white starts to hurt my eyes after a while so I tried to offset it on the forums... looks like we'll end up going back to a white bg though http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

I'm in the same boat... I bounce back'n'forth between Linux and Win98 during a days/nights work...

Linux = black background/white text
Win98 = white background/black text

I think Deb was doing what she could to reduce some of the eye strain that her and I endure during a workday... I had found the new color scheme pleasing to the retinas... Studies have shown that people in my line of work that actually work between text based and graphical based system suffer a lot of headaches caused by the contrast differences...

I will see if I can talk her into dropping the white background, and find something that is not so blue... http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

well.................. i hate the white background.. and the blue didn't bother me at all. It made surfing the forums nicer.
