Here is the situation: In about 6 weeks I'm going in for back surgery. After a week in hospital I will be home for about 2 months.
I manage 30+ people and want to be able to stay in touch on a daily basis. I also do a lot of system design work and will be working with developers.
It would be very helpful if I could some of the following:
- Video conference between a system at home and a system at work (All windows XP). Even if I can't see them it will be useful if they could see me. Work is protected by firewalls but I do have a VPN connection in which gets me right on the corporate network.
- I would like to be able to be able to draw pcitures (free hand) that my developers can see at work. So I want to be able to aim the camera at the pad I am drawing on.
- Ideally, we would have a camera on the other end also.
- Oh yea, my people are in two physical locations about 2000 miles apart. It would be nice if both locations could tap into the same feed.
I have a DSL connection at home and work has multiple VERY large pipes.
Is this feasible or even close without major expense?
Any suggestions where to start? ( I looked at FQ forums and did a google search but I need a better idea of what to look for. )
Thanks
