FTP update

I am a new Future Quest client. I am currently using a temp address until interNic gets everything transfered from my previous host (how long can that take?) I have successfully published my pages using leechFTP but have since made changes. When I follow the same steps to publish them again the changes do not take effect. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

sometimes I have the same effect. It is usually caused by a proxy server. Try to hit "Reload" on your page(s) and see if the changes come through. If necessary you might need to hold down the "Shift" Key while clicking on the "Reload" button.

Some ISPs use transparent proxies and sometimes they keep a page for at least 24 hours.

Some things to try:
Sometimes there is a different address available (with www in front of it or without). Some proxies load the page if the URL is not EXACTLY the original and stored one.

If you still cannot see your changes, just write here if someone else can see them. I have this problem, too and I'm using multiple providers to work around it http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
