Our company is looking for a part-time sysadmin to support the small network here in our office. We'd be open to either a part-time employee or a contractor/consultant type.

We have a dozen Windows PCs (2000 and XP pro) with a Debian box acting as Samba fileserver/PDC, local DNS, dhcp server, and webserver. A Symantec VPN appliance acts as router/firewall and IPSec endpoint. There are also a handful of XP home laptops that come back and forth, and about half a dozen people working remotely via VPN frequently.

Thus far I've been our IT guy, and my whole "learn as I break new things that we need" approach isn't scaling well as we're growing. I'm looking for someone to do 4 things:

Shore up our current setup to make it robust and "right";
Perform regular maintenance on all of our tempermental Windows machines (redundant, yes);
Support remote employees, which may involve the occasional house call (but gets you a free meal); and
Institute a good, low-maintenance backup system.

Once we're done dealing with filling some other positions I'll be posting on Craigslist and possibly on Careerbuilder or somesuch, but I figured I'd leave this here for now.

Those interested should contact me through my FQ forums profile.

Thanks!
