I build the site for my church (not phunkymonkeythreads.com!) and we are starting to use a daily reading Bible for the next year. There is a email newsletter that goes along with the Bible ~

The question is, can I have this email information automatically be sent to, and posted on, the church site each day? I suppose I would want the new message to replace the old one. :confuz: This sounds a little impossible to me, but I thought you all would know!

Otherwise I think I will just put the sign-up for the newsletter on the site & they can just sign up to recieve the newsletter if they would like it. I don't think it's that big of a deal ~

Thanks!!
Tiffany

It would certainly be possible to set something up such as you describe. I'm not personally aware of any software that automatically does this right out of the box, so it might require some custom scripting to get exactly what you want.

Here are some threads where the same concept was previously discussed. Maybe this will point you in the right direction:

I am thinking that I could just alter the guestbook file & have the email sent to a specific email address on our site. Then it could just post whatever information was in the email ~ I don't think I could get it to replace the old information but I could just delete some of it every once in a while.

I'll go check out those links!
