Here's more proof - it double posted on me and it edited both of them!! Geez...

Anyway, I origionally posted about my video card going out. I have my ISA card now from my 486, and I'm telling you there is a big difference between 16 and 16.7 million colors. I'm also running 640 x 480. That's the max capabilities of this RealTek card.

Last month the monitor, now the video card, I'm afraid of March - what next, Hard drive? CPU? Or is the whole thing just gonna blow up?

At least I have my health (as I light another cigarette).

hehe I had a month like that... twas last month to be exact... by the time we replaced everything that broke in my personal PC last month I had a brand new PC... go figure...

The world hates me more!

In the last 8 months, I've gone through 3 CDR SCSI drives go bad on me (Yamaha 400c), they've ALL had their lasers gone bad within a matter of a couple of months. They don't even read music CD's anymore. I'm spending a fortune shipping them back, and insuring them. I've been spoiled on FutureQuest service, that I don't have any patience for the days that go by waiting for a response from my drive's support center.

I've decided to cut my losses. As of this moment, I have 2 non-working SCSI CD-R's on my system. I'll have to get a run-of-the-mill drive just to install software.
