I have a client I want to move to FQ because their current host doesn't support PHP/MySQL. I received a response back from their IT guy this morning that said the following...

"However I really can't figure out why we must move our email with the website, except for the domain name of www.domain-edited.com. If you can provide me with a reasonable explanation of why both must be moved instead of just webhosting that would be nice."

I can't offer him a reasonable explanation, because I didn't know there existed such a thing as hosting the web site seperate from the domain's e-mail. Can someone clear this up for me?

Hello Drew,

There are many domains that use FutureQuest for web site hosting but prefer to manage their email locally or with another provider.

You would place a normal order and then place a MX record order, also listed on the main Order Forms, for the new domain.
http://www.FutureQuest.net/Order/

This allows mail to be handled remotely and their web site to be hosted here :)
