Seems there is a serverside limit of maximum number of messages you can retrieve via pop3. Noticed because of a sudden stop of new messages in the mailbox.

CNC gave me:
mailboxname: 82 new, 0 unread, 10000 read (63.09 MB Total, details)

Doing a telnet to 110, and giving the 'list' command only shows upto
10.000 messages.

Now doing a manual delete of the first messages, retrieve the other 82
and then truncate the mailbox, however, seems that this is unexpected behaviour.

Hello Pier,

Email is limited to 500 messages per download and a total of 10,000 displayed for a number of reasons as noted in this recently added FAQ ;)
http://service.futurequest.net/tech/support.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=445

If you are not able to download any email that is marked as read in the CNC this would be a result of your email client behavior, Outlook is known for this, and you may have to mark the email as New using your CNC in order to be able to actually download that mail...

Ah, that FAQ wasn't there before. Must have overlooked it ;)

Seems that the removal of some of my accounts also lead to becoming a visitor again. However, still do have one w/ FQ, so requested SO-status again :)

Strange however: As a visitor, I can still read the Site Owner forums ?
