I know I've seen the topic here somewhere, but can't find it. So I figured I'd pick the collaborative brain of FQ'ers.

A subscriber to a closed-subscription, discussion list had their email removed from the list automatically by ezmlm presumably because their email address bounced too many times. How can the list admin receive notification when this happens?

As the list is composed of a company's employees, it's imperative that a notification be sent when the bounce occurs so the employee can be added back in (after their email is verified); otherwise they'll miss out on those all-too-important company-wide announcements.

I'm actually more interested in the actual removal of an address vs. just a bounce.

I thought ezmlm will ping the account a few times after a bounce to determine whether it's alive or not. Or do I have my ezmlm logic messed up?

Thx for finding the other thread though.

The closest to that functionality as far as I know would be...
You should also get copies of bounced Probe messages, which ezMLM sends to someone before immediately unsubscribing them.http://www.aota.net/forums/showthread.php?postid=94276#post94276

OK, thanks Bob. Would be a nice feature for ezmlm to notify admin of changes in subscriptions.
