Are there any other fquest resellers lurking around out there that could point me to your site, I need to 'get a clue' on how to do this on my site without 'hiding' fquest. I want to sell the account but let the customer take charge of the account after that and get the great support from fquest that all of us have.
Thanks,
Mike

Actually the resellers are responsible for supporting their clients -- and we are responsible for making sure you can in a timely fashion http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

Your best bet is to particapate in the Reseller's Forums where we are speak a lil more freely <grin>.

You will have an email in your box within the next five minutes with that info http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

hi mikeeeeeeeeeeeeee .. *mega hugs*

I don't hide that fact, but I ain't promoting it too heavily either..giggle. I am SUPPOSED TO BE working on that.. but I got a bit distracted.

I think the that forum deb is speaking of is okay.. but i went one time.. and my password was not so easily remembered.. so I won't be going back.. hehehe. I have too much else to remember. Unless she can work out a way for us to send her a requested password.

I do have a question though.. I kinda disagree with FQ not supporting the clients we send them.. cuz we ain't the server.. we ain't hiding the fact that we are reselling their packages. BUT I ain't as smart as Andrew and I don't know the in's and out's of all things.

I am sure I could figure out most of the questions.. but I ain't future quest. http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

I have enough trouble keeping my own site working, no way I could really support someone else.
I would rather devote my time to MARKETING the package and maybe receive a 10%-20% commission of all payments received from my referral. That's my 2 cents for the day.

I do have a question though..

How the reseller's deal works out etc has been (and will continue to be) discussed. It was on the reseller's forums that we came up with the new plans. The new structure is the result of those who particapated....

Terms for a "referral program" have yet to be decided upon... but have been thought about often..

It sounds like this is more of what you would like. A referral program would probably offer credits to the rerrer for their current or future accounts etc.. it's hard to say. We'll be working on a program for that in about a month....

As far as passwords -- you know where to find me http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Deb,

I'm glad you mentioned referral program...

I was just getting ready to suggest that very thing to FQ. It would be a fabulous marketing tool and the one I set up for a client at Christmas time has brought him in a considerable amount of customers [along with $$$] http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

If you offer both the reseller program for those who want to service the clients and a referral program that offers a 5-10% finders fee for those who wish to spread your great name and company's terrific services...it would be the best of both worlds and there are referral program cgi's that do all of the work for you for tracking [except write the checks, of course]. I can't stress enough about how great of a marketing tool an associates program is. ESPECIALLY with your great community spirit that you've built up here.

Well that's my dime's worth for the day.. http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

i agree, since you are getting "free advertising" why not give back a little to those that help ya out!

my .0005 cents worth. http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif
