I'm starting to advertise my ecommerce site more agressively and it's really paying off. What I need now is a quality banner (standard 468x60) to use on various internet sites. I sell guitar strings, so the theme is (obviously) musical.

Feel free to PM me (I check these forums frequently) or email me at:
sales at bassguitarstrings dot us

Thanks!
Tom

Just to follow up in the event that someone else is looking for a banner designer...

I got some terrific banners at a terrific price from Brant Kelsey Design (http://www.bkdweb.com/design/banners.php).

You can see his site (link is above) for samples of his work.

The stuff he did for me is here:

What shopping cart sytem is that on your site? Do you like it? Seems to work well from here. Looking at the html source, it seems to be pretty robust regarding cookies -- it just encodes the session in all the links, instead of depending on cookies, as far as I can tell.

From another thread, that would be X-Cart (http://www.x-cart.com/).

I use something called X-Cart (http://www.x-cart.com). It's a good choice if you're willing to put time into "tweaking" it to your liking. The authors are Russian, so I spent a lot of time correcting English syntax and grammar. When you purchase it, the source is yours to modify as you please; that's pretty nice if you know PHP. I initially chose it because I need to charge sales tax here in New York based on county (there are dozens). I paid the authors for that customization but, still, it was something that I couldn't find elswhere.
