This is for FQ customers. My site is a Consumer Review of reliable web hosts. I need a fresh testimonial for FQ. which no surprise to most of u guys n gals here is one of the highest ranking on our List. The best reply will be featured on my site. If FQ has no objections that is.:)

What's the best thing u can say about FQ?
Nothing and everything, the most perfect of contradictions. It's all good!

I was hoping that I could read a few reviews and testimonials to get an idea before I submitted anything, but I see that you're just getting the site started...

This is a comment I'm using for one of the hosts (it's not FQ)

"This is the first hosting company that I've ever discovered, that truly understands the meaning of the word Host and what a host should do. They have my business, my respect and my highest recommendation."

Ideally, u shld also mention

1) how long u've been hosted here
2) has the quality been steady over the years, or better or ...

thanks

Dank - your comment is the kind I'm looking for - succinct and having some 'punch.'

Well, how about 20 more nice things to say from other FQ fans?

BetterWebHosts.com will announce its List Of Reliable Hosts b4 Sept 25.

I have been here at FutureQuest for 4 years next month, and find the service outstanding, tech support is top of the line, and the entire staff helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The well maintained support forums are a great resource, as well as a place to get quick and accurate answers on "how to" questions. Package pricing is realistic, and has remained level, while new features are being constantly added or upgraded. Security remains a top priority of the system admins and is always ahead of the curve. Overall, I would rate FutureQuest a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best.

thanks monty

that's the kind of write-up I'm looking for.

New responses to if possible, cover all the important angles ie

speed
uptimes
responsive & proficient support
fair billing/well organized accounting dept
honest/fair/trustworthy owners
great well supported open forum like the one here

so far, my investigation has not thrown up any -ve feedback
on FQ - just a fair no of comments on pricing being
on the high side. Not an issue with me.

so FQ fans 1 down 19 more to go
write something to make Deb grin from ear 2 ear!

In July of 1999 I was about to give up on having a web site. I had been through four web hosts during the previous seven months. Between the down time and unhelpful or slow customer service I had decided the frustration was greater than my dreams of the kind of site I wanted. FQ was my last stop... if they were the same I was going to quit.

Here we are four years later. I now have more than one web site that has become successful beyond my original goals. And I attribute much of that success to FutureQuest. Their dedication to customer service, highly knowledgeable staff, quick response to customer service and constant striving for the highest quality means I can spend my time on developing my web sites instead of waiting for the server to come back up.

I've recommended FutureQuest to many people, and none of them have come back to me with any complaints. In fact quite a few have commented on how great they are.

By the way, folks, my review site

BetterWebHosts.com is in the midst of changing servers (same host)
from one which is pretty congested to another with a server load of 0.00.

So the IP numbers have changed and nameservers as well, so it's
going thro' the name propagation period.

The new IP is

I have been on FutureQuest for about 4 years now with many sites. Some work related and some personal. I also do freelance web work on the side, and I will not take a job unless they host with FutureQuest. This is often a battle to convince them as offers for cheap unlimited everything web host are everywhere. I don't need the hassle, and once I point out my rates for 2am site restore service, they think twice.

Last month I got a call from one of my clients that has the web site on FutureQuest, but wanted to keep the email with their old host. Why? I don't know. Anyway, it seems that a simple request to remove an old email address, deleted every email account along with all the emails. Not only that, but some of the accounts could not be even recreated do to some bug.

Using the FutureQuest CNC panel, I quickly setup the impotent accounts and changed the web page. I then phoned the client and told them how to use the CNC page to setup all the office email accounts and pointed to the great help documents on www.aota.net including how to setup email in Outlook.

In a few, very short hours, everyone had email once again. And after a DNS change, I had the old email address mapped to the new ones.

Everyone is happy and they love FutureQuest email speed and all the options they have for the email accounts in the CNC. And I like it because I did not have to make the long drive to the client to fix that other host screwup.

Feel free to edit for grammer and spelling. I write better code then words.

:QTbars: (for my own protection)My site is a Consumer Review of reliable web hosts. If the determination of "reliable" is to be made by your visitors based on reviews, then I think you should go elsewhere for reviews. People on this forum tend to be FutureQuest clients and would likely have good things to say. Even if you make the determination yourself, posting reviews that come mostly from this forum would give the impression that you based your decision on biased information. This forum is a convienient short-cut to compiling the number of reviews you want, but you should mention where the reviews of FutureQuest came from, especially if they came from here.

BWH scours the web, the forums, google, etc in
our efforts to identify great hosts.

BWH has already determined who're the frontrunners.

Coming here is to get fresh and current comments -
some of which will be appearing on our pages in the next 2 hours.

Objectivity is of paramount importance at BWH, rest assured.

Meanwhile, FQ fans, keep the ball rolling here!
