Shopping cart templates

I do very low volume of sales on my sites, so rather than pay a monthly fee to a shopping cart service, it would be more economical for me to purchase shopping cart software. There are a number of sites that offer reasonably priced shopping cart templates, but I'd like to know if anyone has used any of these templates and your assessment of the functionality of any you have used.

Can you explain what you mean by a "shopping cart template?" A pointer to a web site would help. I would image that any template would be designed for use with a separate shopping cart application.

Do you currently have a way to process credit cards? A shopping cart or order form application is only one required component to completing a sales transaction.

Thanks for your reply, rich. But I no longer need an answer. I found that 2CheckOut credit card processing service is very economical and they supply a simple shopping cart if you subscribe to their service, including a couple of customizable templates. So I signed up and it suits my needs perfectly, a good deal for someone with very low sales, as there are no monthly fees of any kind, you pay a fee only when there is an actual sale. There's a moderate one-time setup fee -- in case anyone listening is interested.
