[nbsp]Sorry to ask these again, but they are fairly specific[nbsp][nbsp] questions from one new to using the CNC.
1.[nbsp][nbsp]How do I make the address I type into the address space/window in my browser point to the page I loaded to my folders on DEEDEE. One of these pages is actually a page I have intended to be my homepage![nbsp][nbsp]I would like to direct the url to point to that.[nbsp][nbsp]apparently it still points to the page that FQ posted when I first signed up for hosting.
2.[nbsp][nbsp]Can I alter pages from the CNC or do I have to do it at home and then upload the finished product?
3.[nbsp][nbsp]How do I keep people from altering my source code from the page that loads?[nbsp][nbsp]I have password protected my folders.[nbsp][nbsp]Is that enough?
I am certain that the answers are self-evident.
[nbsp]Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely yours, ddepperman

1) Visit http://www.aota.net/HTML/homepage.php3 this will explain how to define which page should be your home page.

2) Whichever you prefer.[nbsp][nbsp]To alter pages from your CNC visit the File Manger ... the help files in that area will explain how to proceed with creating and editing your files as well as the many other things you are able to do from within the CNC. (click the blue paw for anything specific)

3) The only people with access to your source code are the people with access to your account username and password.[nbsp][nbsp]You should not need to password protect your directories as this would prevent the general public from visiting and viewing your web site.[nbsp][nbsp]As long as you keep your account username and password safe you should not have a problem.

To make the main page that comes up when some one enters your domain, the page you want to come up will need to be named index.html. For more info on this please see: http://www.aota.net/HTML/homepage.php3

Yes you may alter pages with the editor in the CNC

People cannot alter your source code on the server unless they have your login information. They may of course view it and change it on their own computer, but they cannot affect what’s on the server without your login information. In regards to password protecting your directories this is only needed if you want to only allow certain people via their browsers to view a page/ directory etc.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask away :)
