The maintenance upgrade on the router has not solved the HDLC issue, and we have lost our Internap DS-3 link twice today... The 1st time was 45 minutes ago, and we performed a reset on the interface... Not more than 20 minutes later, it went down again... :(
As it stands, I am leaving the Internap link down so that intrusive testing can be performed by the Imagestream router engineers, since the ultimate resolution will be coming from them...
Overall, the recent changes made to our BGP-4 sessions, have gracefully handled the two outages with only two brief network blips while the traffic rerouted over to the Qwest link...
Our sincerest apologies to those that have been affected by the sub optimal routing...
