A few weeks ago I posted a similar message on a business forum I hang out on, but as a long-time Friend-of-FutureQuest, I thought I'd extend the same offer to FutureQuest customers that I've extended to other associates in my business community. So, here it is.
For the past 5 years I've owned and operated my own business. However, before starting my own business, I was a professional writer and editor, and, honestly, I miss that work.
So I'm now offering to re-write web content for anyone using FutureQuest (or, for that matter, anyone else that needs content re-written). I'll re-write your web site, product literature, brochures, sales letters, whatever! I'm not a designer, so don't ask me to design anything for you, but I can write clear, understandable, and professional content that will help you sell your product.
Now, please don't come to me and say "write me something". That's not the way I work. I firmly believe that no one knows your business as well as you do, and no one can sell your business to your customers as well as you can. Because of that, you need to tell me what to say. You tell me what you want to say, what you want your customers to know, and I'll write clear, quality, professional sales literature (without all that marketing mumbo-jumbo you see on a lot of sites!) that will present your company in a professional light and help you sell your services. The best way to handle it is to provide me with your current web site content and let me simply re-write that content. If you don't have current web site content, then I can work with an outline or general summary, but it will take longer and may take several more revisions than a re-write of existing content would.
I charge by the hour - $15 per hour (I think you'll agree this is a very low rate for these services - I'm doing this more for the enjoyment of doing it again than I am to make a lot of money on it), and I'm happy to provide a firm quote prior to starting work. You can pay me via PayPal.
I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee - if you're not happy with what I write for you, then just tell me that and you won't have to pay a thing (but, of course, you can't use what I write unless you pay me for it).
As I said, I won't write anything from a blank page. I don't know your company as well as you do, so you need to give me my starting point. But once I know what you want to communicate, I will write your content for you. And I guarantee your satisfaction.
