Profile Problem

These are some of my message settings:

Allow Bulletin Board Administrators and Moderators To Send You Email Notices: yes
Use 'Email Notification' by default: no
Enable Private Messaging: yes
Send you an email when you receive a Private Message: no
Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message: no

I have specified (as far as I can see) that I do not want to recive an e-mail whenever somebody replies to a subscribed thread, but I still do. ~#

Does anybody know how I can stop this?

Note: I should mention that I have only recived messages from forum administrators since I changed the settings, so this may have been voided by the 'yes' setting to "Allow Bulletin Board Administrators and Moderators To Send You Email Notices".

Okay, I just found out I was subscribed to some threads - not quite sure what that means though, I assume it is what was causing me to recieve the e-mails.
