Checking site stats and I see under the agents area something or some browser called Scooter/3.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is it? It's at the top of the pile which I found odd.

Scooter is the robot / web crawler of Altavista if I'm not mistaken. It must have been indexing your site.

140000 times? Yikes...time to make some changes I guess. I know I've read several times how to block certain robots so off I go on a search...
