Backing-up/FTP programs

What is the best way to back up my files that are on the FutureQuest servers. What I would like to do is , say every friday, download all the files from the server and save them to a zip or jaz. I'm on a Mac using Fetch and I constantly get errors when I try to download a lot of stuff. I rarely get a clean download and it is a hassle to make sure I got everything. Is there a better FTP program out there for Macs? Or a better way of doing this?
