Hi,

I got this email from one of my VBulletin users:

I'm no computer whiz, so I'll try to explain what's happening.

When I get an e-mail from the site routed to my e-mail address, when I click on the site address to respond back to the site, I'm getting a notice"Page 402 Error", and I can't get through.

What I've been doing is going to the main web page and checking the community forum board and then weave through it to find my message. Also note, that the bottom of the page indicated that I have no messages.

As I said, I'm no computer whiz. Am I doing something wrong, or???

What is the 402 error?

Thanks,

Betsy

Here is a good list of the different HTTP status codes:
http://www.w3.org/Protocols/HTTP/HTRESP.html

Usually 402 (Payment required) means that the owner of the site has not payed his hosting bill.

Here is an even better list with better descriptions:

I'm pretty sure it's auto-debit payment. I'll send email to the service desk.

Thanks, Kevin!

Hi Betsy,

The response to your Service Desk inquiry has been sent :)

Also for others reference, you can see a listing of HTTP Response Codes that are actually used at FutureQuest hosted sites in this tutorial:

Thanks Bob,

I've asked the user to forward me the email and will send it along once I receive it. Thanks also for the login help.
