View Full Version : QuestAffiliates / CJ application turnaround time?

Hiya...
I applied to become a Quest Affiliate a few days ago, but the affiliations' status at CJ still says "applied".
I take it someone at FQ has to approve my application...? How long does that usually take?
I'm only asking because a friend/client wants to open an FQ account, but he's waiting until I'm able to get a referral fee. He's having problems with his email provider, so he's in a crunch. I've told him not to wait for me, but he's just too nice, and insists that I get my fee. Darn him! :noddy:
Anyway, I'd like to know the average approval time, if anyone can tell me.
Thanks!

Hello Bob,
I am unable to locate a QuestAffiliate request as submitted from this form, http://www.futurequest.net/affiliate.php, as ever having reached us at the Service Desk.
If you would be so kind as to resubmit it we will certainly work towards getting you setup as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Bob

<snip>
Perhaps that's 'cos I never sent one. :D
But that's not the stage of the process I'm talking about...
All the links I see at FQ sent me first to CJ, where I applied for a Commision Junction account, and then applied for an affiliation with FQ. I did that because at http://www.QuestAffiliates.com/ it says, "To qualify for the higher commissions, you must fill out the following short form after you have received your affiliate ID#."
So... I'm still waiting for my original FutureQuest affiliate ID# from CJ... waiting for my FutureQuest affiliate status at CJ to change from "applied" to "joined".
Does FutureQuest have to approve those requests sent through CJ, or does CJ do some voodoo of its own to approve affiliations?
Should I contact CJ to prod them?

Ah, yes. Quite an exclusive club. But then again, I spell my name backwards.
:P
Thanks for the help!

Heheheh... I was tinking I applied Thursday night, but it might have been Friday. I guess I was thinking it was kind of like a support request or something, so I figgered since it didn't happen right away, it must have been CJ's thang.
Anyway, I totally understand about the weekend thing. I myself need one every feew years. :noddy:
