What are the .srcmd and .auth files/directories in the CNC. I've just noticed them on the recent folders list in my CNC and I was wondering if there appearance on the drop down list has anything to do with my question last night (my time) to the Service Desk?

Yes we did explore your CNC while troubleshooting your incident and that's why you are seeing that the directories were accessed.....

As far as the true reason for those directories I only understand "concept" so I'll wait for a "real tech" to tell you more ;)

These directories hold your domains credentials for two different authentication systems and are system controlled...

.auth == Apache
.srcmd == Mail system
