ez-mlm validation

I've read thru the aota.net tutorials for maillists.[nbsp][nbsp]Creation seems pretty straightforward, but I'm concerned about validating the request to subscribe.[nbsp][nbsp]When I've joined maillists the process always seemed to include a step wherein the autoresponder emailed me and I had to respond BEFORE I was added to the list.[nbsp][nbsp]In this way the listowner knew I really subscribed--it wasn't some gag by a friend or soemthing.[nbsp][nbsp]Is there some way to do this with ezmlm?

Hello Tom,

The ezMLM setup at FutureQuest is set by default to do exactly that.

When someone submits their email address they will then receive a confirming email that they must respond to prior to being added to the mailing list.

Thanks for such a quick response.[nbsp][nbsp]It highlights another problem I'm having, namely finding all the tutorials.[nbsp][nbsp]Based on your answer and some stuff I've been reading in other posts, it sounds like there is another tutorial out there that I haven't found yet.[nbsp][nbsp]I've read the 4 or so questions from the main aota.net page but I'm now betting there is a more detailed tutorial somewhere I haven't discovered yet.[nbsp][nbsp]Can you point me there?

It has some basic information as well as links to 5 additional tutorials containing more specific information about different types of mail lists and the subscribe/unsubscribe function as well.
