Hi,

I have read about totalnic.com as a good, low cost domain registering service.[nbsp][nbsp]Has anyone here used them successfully?[nbsp][nbsp]

Well the silence on this post is somewhat ominous.[nbsp][nbsp]:)

I was checking around totalnic.net thinking about registering a domain with them.[nbsp][nbsp]When I tried looking up a domain I registered a couple weeks ago (through someone else) to get my COCO number, they had no record of the domain![nbsp][nbsp]Just a message that sometimes it takes a while to update the nameservers.[nbsp][nbsp]Well everywhere else I checked had it registered.[nbsp][nbsp]Didn't feel too comfortable that their records would be so far out of date.[nbsp][nbsp]So I registered through joker.com again (they're down to $37 now anyway).

Hmm I missed this thread somehow ... one other thing to note with Totalnic and other registrars is whether or not they have a system in place for completing transfers.

I believe quite a few of them still do not have this area ready roll.[nbsp][nbsp]They very well may be able to register the name quickly and accurately but if you find yourself needing to make changes to it that can be more difficult...
