I'm creating a web page with Front Page Express, using a 2 inch gif image, and wrapping text around it. In FPE it looks fine, as it does with aol browser, and Internet Explorer. But in Netscape, there's a big empty space below the image. Any ideas?

If you post a URL that would show us a page where this is happening it would allow us to take a peak at the code and offer some advise.[nbsp][nbsp]It's always easier if we can see :)

FPE it looks fine, as it does with aol browser, and Internet Explorer. But in Netscape... I'd have to see the page to (possibly) know what's going on, but a comment or two:[nbsp][nbsp]AOL and IE are basically the same thing, although that may change with Netscape 6???[nbsp][nbsp]Thus, the fact that AOL and IE show it one way is not as compelling in terms of browser compatibility as it would first seem.[nbsp][nbsp]Also, Front Page is a Microsoft application, so I wouldn't be surprised if it renders things the same as IE.[nbsp][nbsp]Netscape is the ultimate test.[nbsp][nbsp]If it passes that one, you can bet it will work on 99% of all browsers in use.

AOL is IE. FP is IE. Netscape is cra- er, is Netscape :)

Thanks, folks,
[nbsp][nbsp]For answering so fast. I'll put the page up soon. Right now it's still only on my computer. I'll put another post here when it's up. Thanks, again.

Hi, folks,
[nbsp][nbsp]My page is now up at richardlundeen.com. The problem with the big empty space below my book cover in Netscape seems to stem from Netscape not heeding the margins I set in Front Page Express. To keep the text out of the darker vertical stripe on the left hand side of the page, I had to indent. Without the indent, there is no empty spot beneath my book cover image. When I add enough indent to move the text out of the dark vertical stripe, I get the empty space beneath the book cover image. I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks.

Try using MARGINWIDTH=&quot;50&quot; LEFTMARGIN=&quot;50&quot; in your <BODY> tag, as Netscape and IE use different commands.

Thanks, Dan,
[nbsp][nbsp]Your advice to change the margin width inside the body tag worked. I also had to remove the indents, which were probably a bad idea anyway.
