Wonderful place to report spam.. it parses the headers of spam, finds who to email, and lets you email the hosts who can investigate/disconnect the spamming scum.

You can use it to filter your email for a $15 membership, but I simply use it for reporting spam. So far I've reported about 15 spams and had about 50% of those spammers get disconnected :) woo hoo! :)

Hope this place helps other people. Spam sucks.

A friend told me he read on another board that some people ended up with more spam than before after submitting that way.[nbsp][nbsp]They basically got the response indicating a live email account by replying.

I thought spam cop sent the complaint, not you.

YMMV

Well, the complaint never goes back to the actual spammer, unless the actual spammer owns their connection to the Internet. It goes to the upstream providers of the spammers, their ISP, their web host, etc.

For example, if someone on FQ spammed me (god forbid :) ) they wouldn't get the response from be. Terra would receive the response. And Terra wouldn't spam me, that I know :)

My mileage is that I've had at least 6 spammers disconnected and another 6 are still under investigation, out of 12 spams :) That's a pretty good rate.

I would recommend using a throwaway account whenever reporting spam. It helps.
