Well, icongarden is officially open for business. I invite y'all to come visit the site and let me know what you think. I'd be happy to take a look at your sites and give you a few pointers here and there. http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
And if I ended up doing any involved work for any FQ customer, I'd be happy to offer a significant discount off my regular fees.
Oh, one more thing.. I'm going to need focus group testers to help with usability testing web sites. You don't need any special abilities, just a willingness to help out. You'll get paid for your time. I'll post a message when I've got a page up describing the tester program.
Take care!

Hi Jacob,
The site is just great.
* The color scheme is great
* Navigation is extremely easy
* Layout of icongarden.com and the large "i" is great
So I was thinking on what to write about if everything is perfect... Suddenly, I found soemthing (when one searches, he finds...).
The QuickLinks border is not as perfect as the rest of the design.

Then I did some more checks http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
Maybe you can look at these areas
* 404 page has broken links in the QuickLink area
* If you plan to have this password protection for longer, why don't do a custom 401 page, too?
I hope this helps you to even make your site more perfect. I must admit that I feel that the things I found do not reduce the quality of your site, so you can leave them as they are and still the site should do great http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Das ist sehr bad! (what is bad auf Deutsch?)
The minor mishap with the Quicklinks box is a known bug and I'm fixing it in the next round of changes. Thanks for spotting it... It appears only to happen in Netscape.. hmm!
Gotta fix that 404 page right away. Problem with those broken links is this... that's the page that's supposed to help people who are lost find their way!
UPDATE: Heh, and I thought I fixed those links... turns out I somehow pasted a different url in there, that wasn't supposed to be. http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
As for password protection... hmm, where did you get a pw protection box? That's not supposed to come up at all!
UPDATE: Ahh yes, I see now, to manifesto... you've got a good point there, it shouldn't be up too long, but I should have a custom 401 just the same.
Back to work http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
Thanks for taking a look, Meikel.
Auf weidersehen!

Not really... I'm using IE4 SP1 at 800x600 on Win98.

I think I've fixed things, except for the custom 401 page. I've created it, just have to modify the .htaccess file
Thanks for your comments, meikel http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
