Hello everyone!
I am new and just got our website up with minor editing still needed. But I am having trouble getting the browser searches to yield our name. Is there a trick to this, or do I need to list or market in a special manner? Thank-you for your help on this![nbsp][nbsp]The site is http://www.fcgcchurch.com

Well, I am no expert on WHAT it takes to get good listings in the search engines, as some of my sites are listed very high and others, Well I am still waiting ????[nbsp][nbsp]But one thing I noticed was that your Description tag and your Keywords tag are identical, I recall reading at least once or twice that some engines are rejecting sites with to much repetition in their desciptions and keywords.[nbsp][nbsp]The best way I know to write descriptions is to look up some comparable church sites and then see what their descriptions and keywords look like!!!

I don't know if this will help,?[nbsp][nbsp]Oh and don't forget that many of the the BIGGIE engines are way behind in adding new sites.[nbsp][nbsp]So patience is a KEYWORD with them !!! :)
Keep Up The Good Work!

I recently listed my church site w/ Yahoo and ran into some trouble. Make sure it is viewable in both IE and Netscape. Also, with Yahoo META tags arent important as far as I understand, check out my site @ www.lakepointechurch.org (http://www.lakepointechurch.org)
Yep, dont send them too many requests or they will reject ya for a while.

It seems as though things with IE and Netscape seem to be fine so far.
Still waiting on a couple of responses. I am waiting patiently for the search engines to start listing us. I hope that as I continue to edit and further design that the site will gather more interest. I appreciate the email I have been getting and the help is always necessary. If anyone else would like to take a look and let me know what you think I would appreciate the response. Thanks. :)[nbsp][nbsp]Shiela
