Hey Everyone!
Found a site that I thought might be of interest to some of you. Submits to 600 engines and looks pretty detailed.
I have not used this myself so I cannot give an opinion. So far I have submitted to individual sites manually. And when my sites are ready for the public with the SSL in place I'll probably take advantage of the free submissions that come with the accounts here at FQ. Thanks Deb and Terra for all the little extras you provide to us... http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
Any way I just wanted to share cause I thought someone here might want to check this out:

Word to the wise:

Deb's instructions on how to get her to submit you to a bunch of search engines recommends that you open a hotmail account to use as the contact address.

I thought she was all wet until I checked my hotmail tonight (set up like she suggested) - and found *190* new emails!

Good Lord! I'm sure glad I didn't use one of my real email addresses!

LOL!

And they will continue -- trust me http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

Submitting to engines can generate an enormous amount of "spam".

The key here is that it technically is not spam... as we are technically giving them permission to have their way with our email address in return for them placing a link for us.

The email will slow down - but if you hang onto that box you will find that it collects much mail forever http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Hadn't thought about spam - YIKES.
Thanks for the warning.
Haven't geared up to really get involved in submitting to search engines yet - you may have just saved me a lot of grief.
Thank You!

...98 more emails today, and the night is young...

BOY am I glad I didn't use one of my main email addresses. I can't read all these - I just pitch 'em into the trash.
