I have a few animations and graphics on my page.
How can I speed the download time on the site. What compression programs are available.
How can I also make compatible with most browsers especially netscape. thanks for you tips.

Hi,
what is the URL for your page? It's a bit hard to help if one cannot see the effects of what's going wrong. Your profile just holds www.Nicure and I cannot fill in the missing gaps and find your site.

Do you have any specific compatibility problems?

Hi,

I notice that you do not have anything uploaded to your site yet so, like meikel said, it's a bit hard to help w/o seeing...

What I can tell you is that Ulead has a nice little program for compressing graphics of all kind. You will find their web site at http://www.webutilities.com/

Hope this helps a lil bit

Yeh the Ulead smart saver kicks butt http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
We use it all the time. Esential for images on our sites - I;m alwasy compressing other peole's scanning adventures over on rabbitrescue - drives me nutty -

SOme graphics program also have something that works similar to teh SmartSaver -

Actually the version they have now is way more souped up than the version I purchased a year ago (the price has doubled with the features aargh!) If you have a lot of grahics to compress and make web ready and dont rally have a good tool in anotehr graphics program to do this - its definatly worth every penny - I couoldnt live without it hehe!

hmmm I wonder if I can get an upgrade for my primitive version heheh http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
