Favicon mess...

Well I finaly decided to create a simple favicon. At least for know I can decide if it is worth keeping...anywayz I made a favicon and pu tit in my www dir and images sub dir...but it isnt appearing in the bookmark. Any suggesions?

IE will only load it when you first bookmark the page. If you already have it bookmarked, you will need to delete the bookmark and re-bookmark it.

If it makes you feel any better, mine keeps disappearing on me - it was showing correctly when I first bookmarked my site, but it disappears after a while... but other people seem able to see it just fine...

It makes ME feel better... because mine disappeared after a while, too!!!

It ALWAYS disappears and there's currently no way to prevent that from happening. It gets stored as a temp file on the users computer and like the cache, it gets flushed from time to time.
