Just compared traceroutes...I'm getting fewer hops via Sprintlink than your new path http://www.aota.net/ubb/frown.gif
Of course, reliability does play a teeny part!

Any idea when the plebes like myself will start moving over? Just curious-guess it depends on how long the internic templates take..

oh yeah, is there some reason why I can't register a new name at internic using your nic handle and name server info even if you aren't doing new accts right now? I'm a little unclear whether this will "damage" anything or not!

Deb and I updated all the Internic templates last night, talk about the epitomy of repetition... Ugghhhh...

You should see your Internic whois updated in the next day or two with the new nameservers...

Right now, the upgrades are going slow as I'm still being very cautious and watching for any glitches/problems with the new server... We nailed most of the problems in the first 3 days on the new server... I'm sure there will be a few stragglers that haven't reared their ugly head yet...

Trace Routes, it all depends as the nature of routing can take you many different paths to arrive at your destination... We cannot control that in any way...

If you do a whois on FutureQuest.net right now, you should see the updated information...

[Folow-Up]

Yes, you can register/transfer new domain names with Internic if you like -- there is no problem there...
