I am currently dealing with some system issues on QBERT, and I should have everything sorted out very soon...

Until then, QBERT will be offline until repairs are completed...

I am still working on QBERT, running integrity checks on the ReiserFS hard disk partitions...[nbsp][nbsp]Due to the size of the hard drives, this is going to take some time as the process is very involved...[nbsp][nbsp]However, this is necessary to avoid any file system corruption problems...

Comprehensive ReiserFS disk checking just completed...[nbsp][nbsp]It was found that there was a bad journal chain which would cause the kernel to panic and flip the journal to read only...

I have tried to repair this broken chain, and it appears the procedure was successful...

I will be bringing QBERT back online in limited mode with Web services disabled...[nbsp][nbsp]Watching email flow should be enough to see if this problem is going to resurface...

I have just fired up all Apache daemons, which now brings the server back to full production...

Right now, I am going to be keeping a very close eye on QBERT's behavior to make sure everything is back on track...[nbsp][nbsp]I will also be sifting through the rubble to see if I find any more forensic clues that I may have missed while scrambling to get this fixed asap...
