FQuest Announce: New Additions to the Service Team!

Hello everyone

An official announcement is overdue.. and for that, I'd like to apologize. We would like to introduce to you the newest members of the FutureQuest team. We are very pleased to welcome both Dan Kaplan and Bob Johnson, and hope you will as well!

You may recognize both from their participation in our[nbsp][nbsp]Community Forums and possibly you've had the pleasure of interacting with one or both via our Service Desk. I think you will agree that both Dan and Bob are learning, resourceful, enthusiastic... and we look forward to the qualities they bring to FutureQuest.[nbsp][nbsp]

Dan will have varied duties along with providing support, while Bob will primarily be our frontline weekday support contact. (currently both are in training)

Please help us welcome them both, and go easy on them, will ya? (On second thought.. nah, don't! :P)

Things I'll miss being on the other side of the fence:

[nbsp]- Not being able to thank FQ profusely for the great job they do wtih the servers and general support.[nbsp][nbsp]That would sound kind of cheesy...

[nbsp]- Asking myself not once, but twice, "should I really click Submit Reply?"

But, that will be far outweighed by the benefits of working with such a great bunch of people (the entire FutureQuest family) and continuing to help and learn as much as possible!

Ok, how and where to start?

First off I have to say that to me this is a Great Honor, one that I never would have dreamed of the day I signed up my first account with FutureQuest.[nbsp][nbsp]Just think, the honor of working with the likes of Deb, TeRRa, Justin, Paul, Brian and Dan![nbsp][nbsp]These are people I have been in awe of since I came here.

Second, I have to say that I really Believe that FutureQuest is the Greatest Hosting Company I have been exposed to, and I have seen and looked at a bunch.[nbsp][nbsp]Why, because they started out with and still believe that the best way to success is honesty and hard work![nbsp][nbsp](If you don't believe that check out Deb and TeRRa's working hours !)

Now what does that mean to all of you?[nbsp][nbsp]Well I promise that I will work very hard on your behalf to find the answers that you need.[nbsp][nbsp]If I don't know them I will search for them or find the person who can answer them.[nbsp][nbsp]That also means that I expect to be told when I come up short, when I don't get you the information you need, then don't hesitate to let me know.

This is all about FutureQuest, a business that has been built by the Community and the only way that it can continue and thrive is to work together as a community and keep striving for the best!

The biggest Honor is getting to be part of the FutureQuest Team and serving the Community! :)

Heh, this is funny. I WAS just thinking about this the other day. Seemed that both of these guys have been jumping in a LOT lately to help out in the forums. I seriously considered posting a message this past weekend to the effect of ..."when are they going to join the FQ team." Gosh, how I was I HAD posted that message. It would've been so funny.

I commented to Bob after Paul spilled the beans that we need to remind ourselves to say "we" instead of "they" in regards to FutureQuest.[nbsp][nbsp]That will take some getting used to.

FutureQuest has a couple other team members, Bob the Accountant, and Jeff the Attorney... They are both aware of the stock (too aware sometimes *g*).

It'll happen... not this year, but it'll happen.[nbsp][nbsp]When it does happen, I'll be doing my very best to ensure the service side is not lost.[nbsp][nbsp]Walt Disney (the man) did quite well with the smile being the priority for all who worked there.[nbsp][nbsp]I'd like to follow in those footsteps.
