I doubt I have to 'notify' any of you that FutureQuest went down not once but twice today http://www.aota.net/ubb//redface.gif
The reasons are the same -- We are under *Very High* load this week... we ordered the server ontime... as we knew we would grow.. unfortunately one item was back ordered and we got caught in the middle http://www.aota.net/ubb//frown.gif
On the good side of this is... the UPS tracking number tells us that the final piece will be arriving on our door step tomorrow (11-25-98). From that point we will be working through the night to install the new server which should stop these problems from happening... and be a tad more prepared the next time we grow to capacity as this new box allows more capacity for upgrades..along with the fact that we will be purchasing a third server very soon so that next time it's a matter of installing it rather then waiting for it.
You can plan on downtime Beginning at 1am EST.
We are going planning on making the switch about 1am EST Thursday morning... estimated down time is around two hours...
From the point we are back up... you can plan on smooth sailing (we hope).
Thanks goes out to so many of you for being so extremely patient with us while we go through this hectic time!!!!!
We are striving to offer you the best service possible and as such got caught with out 'pants down' due to the kind words and growth.
We certainly do not want to lose any one of you, we prefer to keep growing http://www.aota.net/ubb//wink.gif but please rest assured that we will stand by our guarantee 150% if you do decide that this has been too much for you to handle.
For those that are as excited about the new server and the growth as we are... smile... it's candid camera time and the new server will be up and running VERY SOON!!!!
By the time many of you are eating Turkeys on Thursday for the Thanksgiving Holiday we should be over here watching the new member of FQuest purring along caring for your Web sites.
