Okay, here goes...I'll prolly make this longer than I have to (hehehe)....
Those who know us from DH/Susogi know we're multiple and are aware that we have a DID-related website. We also have a separate "singleton" site (different usernick, email, etc.) that we make available to those who don't know about the DID. Our DID site resides on SUSOGI but has its own domain name, which is parked at FQ. (Don't ask me to explain domain parking. All I know is we got a good deal [g].) Our "singleton" site is on Tripod.
Anyway, being the dreamers that we are, we'd eventually like to do the domain name thingy with our "singleton" site, but we'd want to register that domain as .com, .org, and .net, all of which are still available at the present time. That way, we'd own as much of the "brand name" as possible under the Internic TLD system. (We'd take .edu, .mil, and .gov too, but we don't qualify [g].)
Assuming we had the money to do this, is it permissible to register the same domain with .com, .org, and .net? The site would theoretically contain several divisions: hosting (.net), graphic design (.com), and personal support resources (.org).
Or are we just cr*zy?
