- Im working on a database driven site for a client, and its based in ASP. I've tried and retried it, it works! when I upload it to the FQ server, it dosent want to work. I've had all sorts of problems when its on FQ server. I noticed you guys use Apache with Unix. My guess is that you guys dont have support for ASP?
- Do you guys ever plan on having ASP support? I dont know much about PHP yet. It looks like I might have to read up on it though. <<Sigh>>. So little time...

ASP support will probably never be available (but don't quote me on that). ASP, for the most part, only runs on NT servers. There is a port around somewhere that works on Solaris machines, but it's really expensive, and FQ doesn't have Solaris machines anyway.
PHP style and results are remarkably similar to ASP, and to make it even better, it's not affiliated with Microsoft at all! ;)

Well that answers my question about ASP on anything beside
Microsoft IIS. Seem like everyone has ther own version of it. Lotus has there version etc....[nbsp][nbsp]I am trying to get around setting up an NT server just to serve my ASP application. Are you sure there is nothing else out there that understands / server ASP's ???

You might try http://www.activeserverpages.com
Cold Fusion is similar to ASP and works on UNIX I think btw.

- Well I already had the ASP pages done. I only needed to post them up on the web, but I already put them on another server that runs support for ASP. <<Sigh>> no resellers benifits there... I've heard alot about coldfusion, I will look into there applications later on.

cold fusion is NOT similar to asp - it's tag based, and doesn't truly work in *nix environments yet.[nbsp][nbsp]they have a linux stub working, and a linux port going, but nothing yet
