Here goes: my last try (see post below) at a nav system really sucked. My new idea goes like this: onmouseover a layer goes to visible showing the pages in a category (that the mouse went over) I recently found a javascript script to make a layer visible/not. One problem, I don't know anything about layers! (i learn quickly) Are they JS/HTML/DHTML or what?

I recently overhauled my whole nav system (and concurrently reorganized where things were stored.)[nbsp][nbsp]I previously had a long "shopping list" of contents on nearly every page - what a space hog, particularly since I restrict my pages to a centered 600 wide table.[nbsp][nbsp]My solution was to utilize seven main jump stations; the main page for each category lists the section contents bullet style.[nbsp][nbsp]My jump station links are available on nearly every page, and I did utilize mouseover effects for those (they are at the top.)[nbsp][nbsp]Check out the mouseover wizard at:[nbsp][nbsp]http://wsabstract.com/mousewhipper/index.htm[nbsp][nbsp]It's super, the mouseover images load faster than the rest of the page.

You can see how I organized this at:[nbsp][nbsp]www.cgspouses.net (http://www.cgspouses.net)

Just another option on the nav-decision thing. . .

*Edit*[nbsp][nbsp]I also took the re-organization to add a site map, available from nearly everywhere (definately the main jump station pages) and added a "hot list" of the site favorites.[nbsp][nbsp]I also found I got a TON less "help me" email when I created a "new to this site?" page.[nbsp][nbsp]But perhaps I digress from what you asked! (And no unkind words here about me and MY "help me" emails, FQ Support!![nbsp][nbsp]LOL)
