error log mystery

I got an internal server error page from my postcard shop at http://www.julies.net/card.html What does it mean when my error log says attempt to invoke directory as a script?[nbsp]

I almost hate to say this.... but it does in fact mean you tried to run a directory as a script.

Possibly someone tried to go to /cgi-bin/ and didn't specify a file name for the script they were looking or something of that sort ?
