need help setting up show and sell banner rotation scri...

Has anyone here used this banner rotation script from purely by magic? I followed the installation directions and I get this message when I try to login to the configuration menu. "There was an error when trying to access the file : showsell/showsell.cfg
Please contact the Webmaster for this site for assistance." "The only thing I know that I didn't do was set permissions for 'pbmmain.pl', 'pbmscreen.pl' and 'pbmdata.pl' files to 777 because I knew it couldn't be done. I think it is looking for showsell.cfg and can't find it but the installation instructions and download did not give me a .cfg file- thus I assumed that trying to login as it instructed with this url: "http://www.julies.net/cgi-bin/showsell.pl?screen=login"[nbsp][nbsp]would create it as the instructions implied but no such luck.[nbsp][nbsp]The installation instructions are at this url: http://www.purelybymagic.com/install/showsell.html[nbsp][nbsp]if anyone has time to look at it and give me some hints. I'd appreciate you. :D

Most likely it will create the file for you, but you need to set a path somewhere. There is no /client/home/yoursite/docs/showsell directory on the server. This needs to be set to /big/dom/xjulies/www/showsell.

There should be a variable in the script somewhere that needs to be set to the above, something like:

$BaseDir = "/big/dom/xjulies/www/showsell";

Or something like that:)

I really do love this place! :) Thank you. I have tried to set this script up FOREVER. I gave up at my former site but after I got so much help with other stuff, I decided to give it one more try here. Did I mention that I really love this place? ;) Thanks again... Back to work...
