I'm planning on spending a good bit of time telnetting into good old FQ having fun(?) over the next while.

Any suggestions on a good Telnet client that is easy on the eyes and the wallet? The MS telnet client makes me want to throw up.

Thanks for any ideas....

I prefer secure crt... best telnet client on the net imho... but it's not very easy on the pocket book http://www.aota.net/ubb/frown.gif

They do have standard crt which is $30 and is also very good... you may want to check it out at http://www.vandyke.com

Unless you can come up on a Student ID card to photocopy and send to em. The student price isn't bad at all (although I can't remember what it is offhand).

CRT:

I'm using standard CRT and like it. However, I have this one problem in that the CR's don't get translated into CR/LF so that long command lines tend to wrap over themselves instead of flowing to the next line.

Any tips for setting the emulation/configs to prevent this? I've tweaked a lot of things but haven't seem to find the right option http://www.aota.net/ubb/frown.gif
