dumb question for the day

What else do I need to do to install a counter on a page? I filled out the info then copy/pasted it on the page & the counter wouldn't change counts.

I'm not sure where you installed the counter at? If it is broken or anything just show me where so I can view the code in there.

As far as whether or not it will change counts... you need two people to test that.. you can not really test that yourself.

Reason: the counter program is set to not allow constant reloading.

If I sit on your page and reload, reload, reload one right after the other the count is not going to change (it keeps a lil file of who the last reload came from). Now if I hit reload.. then you hit reload... it will count us both (it only knows who the last person was... so once you hit it you're the last person then I hit it so now I am kind of thing)

Once you let us know where it is if you would like me to go reload it with you and make sure it's counting just say the word...

ok that makes sense..I took the counter off cause I thought it wasn't working but I'm gonna try it again later. The image showed up fine but I wasn't sure if I had to do something else too since copy/pasting the code seemed to easy LOL

I know counters aren't the real deal, but my dad likes it on his company page.

However, I re-wrote a page today, pasted over the code from the old version and it went back to "1". I tried to pad it back up, but that doesn't seem to take.

How come it reset itself? Because the index.html page was a new one?

If so, how come the "st=" field doesn't work?

I'm not losing any sleep over this, but Hmmmmmmmm.
