Okay, here it goes. This shows that a little sitting on the bench doing the rah rah for the home team and web development has passed me by. Now what can we and can we not use with out UNIX system. I know ASP is out, but is there an equivalant to it?
Can we use DHTML?

Deb you had mentioned something on the phone the other day and I had a blonde moment and forgot and I am not blonde go figure. Can someone help me out here. I dont want to spend hours programming if I can not use what I worked on. http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks,

hehe a blonde moment huh.... well I do happen to be blonde :PPPPP

Ok, you are correct.. ASP is out.. PHP3 is our answer to ASP .. blend that in with mySQL and !wow! what a combination... check out www.incluso.com (http://www.incluso.com)

You may use SSI and xSSI etc.... things like DHTML are browser specific... the only thing the server has to do with flash media and midi's etc etc is assuring we have the proper mime types in place... which to the best of my knowledge we are totally up-to-date.. if at any time someone finds they need a mime type added they need only ask http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Hope this helps
Deb
