View Full Version : 2 (minor) bugs in CNC Email Manager

1. I'm trying to forward an alias to mailbox@q.com, but I get this error message:
Oops - an error has occurred:
» The first email address you provided does not appear to be valid.

I'm guessing the problem is that the CNC doesn't like a domain name only 1-character long. But based on a quick Google search, names like this are perfectly valid.

2. After getting this error, I'm presented with the line:
"Click Here to go back or Click Here to return to the main menu."

However, both links take me back to the main Email Manager page. I could swear the "back" link used to work, but it sure isn't tonight... :(

The first problem is more of an issue for me, though.

Scott,

I can confirm the issue with trying to forward to mailbox@q.com results in an error and we will see what we can do to get this corrected, however if this is pressing you may want to send an email to the Service Desk with the exact mailbox you wish to forward and exact forwarding address and we can see about manually completing this for you.

However in two different accounts I have tested the "Click Here to go back" link worked fine for me and returned me to the Forward entry page again and not the Main Email Manager and I am not able to duplicate this.

Maybe need additional testing from other users running different browser/OS combinations. I am running FF3 beta on Vista Home Premium.

I am using FF 2.0.0.14 on Windows XP Pro SP2 (not brave enough to try SP3 yet).

I can confirm the second bug on my main package. Firefox 3 RC1 on OS X.

Maybe it's a difference between the secure and non-secure CNC? Don't think so -- I just tried the insecure  CNC and it also kicked me back to Manage Email Accounts.
