Hi, guys...

I suddenly can't send any mail via either my main address at thoughtnozzle.com [SONIC/PT01] or an address at nenamedia.com [SCOOTER/PT02].

Add to that botanicasf.com/PT04. So maybe it's something closer to me? Or does all virus scanning for those servers go through one server? And... Does outgoing mail even touch the PT's?

Server says: "4.3.0 Cannot virus scan message"

Using Apple's Mail.app.

Are the scanners overloading?

I was trying to test a mail filter /processor on an address at sellthefeeling.com when it started. At first I thought it might be the filter, but now I can't send to either that address or my own.

Whassup?

We can confirm that there are currently issues in sending outbound SMTP mail.

The sysadmin is currently looking into the matter and we will do our best to resolve as expediently as possible. We expect to have the matter in hand within a few minutes...

Our apologies for the inconvenience,

Sheila

Hey, it's actually a relief-- I know you guys can find and solve issues like this a thousand times faster on your end than I can on mine. :vday2:

Thanks for hopping on it!

We believe this is now resolved and everything should be working properly once again.

Virus Scanning has been fixed, and is now back in full production...

I am still investigating why ClamAV was throwing ScanStream errors... :(

They were not overloaded, but rather having communication problems...
