I'd like to be able to move files in CNC without the modified date changing. Do most people prefer that the date be changed? It would be a nice option anyway.

The CNC already does keep the modified date when moving files.

Yeah, I see that now. Almost all of the files in my misc directory are dated 06-30-2007. I know most of the files were created long before that modified date. I see now that I moved the files more recently than that date, so something else must have reset it. :dunno:

For example, the modified date of http://www.polisource.com/misc/ABBA-guy.gif is 06-30-2007, but I haven't done anything with that image since this (http://www.aota.net/forums/showthread.php?postid=143021#post143021) post of 12-31-2005.
Of the 257 files in my www/misc folder, 242 are listed as being modified on 06-30-2007. Is there something that could change that date that I may not be aware of?

Perhaps you re-uploaded those files?

It's possible, but I don't know why I would have done it.

The image in the post is /PublicMisc/ABBA-guy.gif, not /misc/ABBA-guy.gif. When copying files, the new copy will have the current date as the modified date.
