What happens if I go over my allocated disk space or bandwith? Will you just bill me extra; or game over?

Thanks :)

If you exceed your disk space, we will send you a warning by email. This will advise you of the situation and give you time to correct. Correction can be up to you, either reduce the disk space, upgrade your hosting package, or simply pay ala carte for the extra disk space.

If you take no action and give no reply, then after a period of time (usually about 2-3 days) we will add extra disk space to your hosting package and begin charging you for it. Even at that point, if you take immediate action, you can avoid the extra charges.

However we do not shut down websites for exceeding disk space.

In regards to bandwidth, it is similar. Except that we do try to project your monthly bandwidth usage. We are not always able to forsee possible overages before they occur, but we do our best. If we suspect that you will exceed your bandwidth, or if we find that you already have, then we will notify you by email. You will have options to address the situation, which include optimizing your site to avoid further excessive bandwidth usage, upgrading your hosting package, or simply paying for the bandwidth ala carte.

But in general we try to avoid taking down sites for overusage, and we generally do our best to notify you so that you can take the appropriate actions, according to your preferences and needs.

Just to further clarify, there is a maximum disk space allowance of 2000 MB for any single package on a Community Server.

If someone exceeds that maximum allowance we do send a Terms of Service Violation (http://www.FutureQuest.net/Services/TOS/#ResourceAbuse) notice requiring that the disk space use be reduced to below 2000 MB or risk package deactivation.

This does not mean that you have to leave the FQ community, as they do offer another package (http://www.futurequest.net/Services/HC/) if you excced 2000MB. :)
