When I try to publish my site through NVU, everything seems to work fine in the NVU program. But when I go to my website, only the Future Quest page is displayed. What's going on? Thanks.
Have you checked your NVU settings against this post...

Thanks for the info. However, I still can't get my page to display. I followed this advice, maybe I'm doing something wrong here.
"Then in the Tab named "Publish"
Make sure that a page name and page title are entered and then under "Site subdirectory for this page" make sure you have entered "www/" (without the quotation marks)"
I entered the "www/" (without the quation marks) only in the "site subdirectory for this page" area. Still, my website does not appear.
I'm not really sure what questions to even ask to get this thing to work. What do you suggest? Thanks very much.

Disregard that last post - My website works now! I gues it takes a few minutes to publish. What have I got myself into in this website world?!
Thanks for your help!!
You may have experienced Browser cache where your browser will cache the last view and when you make any changes to a page it is best to force a browser reload/refesh by using SHIFT+reload, CTRL+F5 (or in some cases Shift+CTRL+Reload).

I'm just starting out with my website, never done this before. I'm having the same problem of Nvu saying my page has published successfully but only the futurequest generic page is showing on the site itself. I've checked my settings against that post listed, I've done the refresh thing. I'm at a loss.:grr: :umm:

Hi sakhov,
Did you receive the response we sent you from the Service Desk? Correcting the issue with the filename should allow your home page to show successfully.
Hope this helps further,
Melissa

Yes, I did get your message and now my website is up and running, so thank you! I have another question though. I changed the background color in Nvu, but it doesn't show on the site itself. Also, the arrangement of text, header, and image are different. Any idea why?

If you are sure the updated page has been uploaded (view the source to confirm), the old page may be cached. Follow Bob's instructions to try forcing a refresh in your browser:
http://www.aota.net/forums/showthread.php?postid=156138#post156138
If you still don't see the updated page after refreshing your browser's cache, here are a few additional things to try:
- alternate between using the site's URL with and without 'www' (replace your domain name for example.com below):
http://example.com/
and
http://www.example.com/
- use the dedicated IP address to check the site (refer to your Activation Letter or look under the Server Info section of the CNC)
- add a random string to the URL, such as:
http://example.com/?nocache=123456
If you're still experiencing trouble seeing the updated page, be sure to provide the domain name so that others can try to assist as well. Also, be sure to describe what you are seeing as well as what you believe should be showing.
