Problem with WS_FTP

Hi,

I just downloaded and purchased Ipswitch Professional 2007. However, am having difficulty getting it to run.

Here's the scenario. When I click on the Ipswitch Desktop link or icon, the Ipswitch Professional screen would come up. But then it would come to a standstill with the Microsoft error message "Never!" coming up. I'd then click on the Ipswitch Desktop link or icon again, the Ipswitch tool would then come up behind the Ipswitch Professiona screen and come to a standstill.

I'd then to the Windows Task Manager to shut down the Ipswitch screen/tool.

Anyone have any ideas on what could cause the Ipswitch Screen to reach a standstill and for the Microsoft error message "Never" to come up ?

There's a known issue that causes WS_FTP Professional to fail when IE 7 is installed. Here's the fix for it:

Hi Will,

The following did the trick:

Delete the psapi.dll file from the following directory.

C: \Program Files\Ipswitch\WS_FTP Professional
